I was born here, in San Diego only to be adopted and raised in the Bay Area.  While growing up in the town of Danville, I was always active in outdoor adventures and sports.  Having Tahoe only 2 hours away lent itself to many camping and skiing outings over the years.  The summer before high school began, I completed my Eagle Scout service project by delivering a set of masterfully over engineered (thanks Dad!) picnic tables to the Church that hosted our meetings.  Once high school age arrived, I was able to select a football powerhouse to attend.  Even though I grew up swimming competitively and was likely to play water polo as my high school sport, I found myself playing football for the De La Salle Spartans during the peak of their success.  The Spartans were ranked between #1-#3 in national poles and my team just happened to be on the field when we, as Spartans, broke the National Win Streak record.  This earned the team a lot of publicity and even a glamor shot on a box of Cheerios!

I returned to San Diego in 1998 to attend UCSD where I double majored in Economics and Urban Studies.  During college, I interned with a successful mortgage broker and began my education and training in Real Estate.  In fact, I also worked for a software company where I digitally created disclosure documents for states and counties throughout the nation.  However, life lead me into the world of environmental sustainability where I would open a small business that operated successfully for almost 20 years.  As was the case with many small businesses, Covid brought it to a screeching halt.  During lockdown, I decided to get back on the Real Estate train and completed all coursework and exams to become a licensed Real Estate Appraiser.  My wife and I had married just weeks before the Covid lockdown and managed to use that time to blend a family of 7!  Currently, when I am not driving one or more of our 5 children around the County, I am working as a Professional Real Estate Agent, founder of R & D Property Hunters and am proud to bring my life experience, successes as an entrepreneur, and knowledge of Real Estate to serve your needs.
